I'm unsure if I posted this earlier or just thought it, but...
The USD is holding gains after the Fed minutes. With an 80% chance of a September rate cut priced in before Jackson Hole, the USD may strengthen further if Powell isn't dovish enough or drop slightly if he confirms expectations.
I don't see the Fed being more dovish than the two cuts already priced in this year. The risk is that only one or no cuts occur imo, so skewed towards USD strength.
A strong USD rally could occur in September under the right circumstances
