So cool that @z0r0zzz built out an entire DeFi ecosystem on Ethereum with @ZAMM_DEFI. Love watching the progress

Introducing ZEX v0.1, a confidential peer-to-peer DEX that requires no protocol-level modifications or co-processors to operate. Privacy assumptions impose very tight constraints, making DeFi use cases almost impossible to implement. Confidential tokens are usually very limited in functionality, enabling only encryption of balances and push-only transfers. The ZEX v0.1 protocol aims to defy the odds. It extends the cWETH-like confidential tokens with confidential approvals and transferFrom operations, allowing confidential peer-to-peer swaps (and other protocols) to be implemented. Although very heavy on the UX side (and gas-wise), requiring multiple ZK proofs to be verified within the same transaction, and potentially leaking confidentiality in some edge cases, ZEX shows that native confidential DeFi on Ethereum is not a dream anymore. *ZEX is still a draft and there are security issues to consider. We will try to properly address them in the future revisions of the protocol.

The main mistake we made with @defiscan_info is assuming people would read - enabling to address the relative lack of nuance of the 3 global stage in the review itself. => A fix is on the way with the next iteration providing much more granularity on global ranking, amongst other things

Disclosing is caring. Hiding is grifting. I'll be forever in awe of the first @defiscan_info stage 0 project that has the decency to retweet/share its review on its official account. It happened for Stage 1 or more, but Stage 0 are shy and embarassed it seems.

What @defiscan_info delivers, if this space was decent, would be disclosed directly by the projects themselves. But obviously, their incentives is to positivitely misrepresent their decentralization stage. We're happy to fill this gap: 80% scanned, onward to 90%!

A proposal suggesting to mint out-of-thin-air, unbacked, 60M crvUSD (~50% of the current 120M supply) to quickstart @yieldbasis This capacity for unbacked minting is one of the key element that lead @CurveFinance to a high Upgradability risk on @defiscan_info and thus a Stage 0

"Ethereum, not DeFi": we made a bit of progress, DeFi is now tolerated in higher circle, they would sometime even talk about it. However, still diminished. Still discussed at this one weird gambly corner of the beautiful construction that is Ethereum. It's not a shady gambling corner: it's the ground 0 usecase that not only found PMF. but also enables further usecases. You cannot tell the story of Ethereum without telling the story of DeFi. I guess we need to keep pushing.

Having a fully onchain router is insane. Yes, performance will be worse than offchain heavy router, but availability is maximized. If you care about onchain stuff and the OG vision, rather than the TardFi vassalization of late, you are following @z0r0zzz & @ZAMM_DEFI
