On the topic of Delta selection since it’s been popping up a ton on my timeline. Their selection is very well thought out and extremely difficult psychologically, and physically. They only run a few a year and it has a high attrition rate. I doubt I could have ever made it though, and if I did, I’m quite certain I would have been cut during the Operator Training Course (OTC). I’ve had many friends who are far greater men than me make it to the end of OTC to be told they weren’t what they were looking for. I have many friends who were, or are over there and they are just a different breed of human. They can do the things they do because they select; and then train next level human beings to do next level missions that have very little room for error.
