The more I think about Zcash, the more I realize how genius the architecture is. True encryption has always been the goal. Obfuscation was not. This is especially true when enterprises think about privacy. When dealing with payments, enterprises cannot afford to have leakage on important data. They deal with important customer information that must have the highest degree of cryptographic assurance. There’s a reason why Zcash is the inspiration for many private blockchains and ZK rollups. They all use variations of zero-knowledge technology that Zcash pioneered in 2016. Even older models are converging towards ZK-style cryptography which is much closer to the Zcash model. When institutions think of privacy, they will think of the leader.
