the more i get into thinking about in-app trading in @clicker, the more i realize how much of a work of art the profile tab is in @tryfomo. it builds on trading terminals' "Active Positions" and "History" tabs, but strips it down to just what matters. my main issue as a user rn is the "cash balance" concept: i have to deposit SOL, sell out of the SOL to USDC to get a cash balance, and then use that cash balance to buy assets. once you get through this, it's great - your spending power is stable. a cash balance is common UX in Robinhood, Coinbase, etc. but that's because the user is depositing USD into the app. in crypto, often the user is depositing SOL/ETH. trying to decide if @clicker's in-app trading wallet should adopt a similar "cash balance" concept, or not.
